To replace the flapper assembly, first remove the two mounting screws on the bowl cover that are closest to the back wall. Pull the cover away from the bowl and lift it off the filler tube. Next, insert a screwdriver into the slot in the plastic Cam Latch and gently pry it away from the valve body. The metal retainer ring is spring-loaded. Be careful not to lose any of these parts.
