Mayhew Pneumatic Outside Muffler Cutter is a high speed, right angle tool that cuts out small holes in sheet metal. It can be used for joining, forming, or cutting aluminum, brass, copper, iron and stainless steel. The powerful .401" shank fits any air gun with an air hose size up to 0.179" (4mm) and a max pressure of 100 PSI.

The outside cutter provides the speed and accuracy of center cutting with the added benefit of an external tooth that creates an ideal finish on the surface being cut. The 4-1/2" fully reinforced cup sole is ground square to provide perfect register with all shank sizes. The cutting edges are machined to fit a variety of pitches and profiles, meeting most muffler manufacturers specifications. This bit is made for pneumatic applications in steel pipe up to 12" (300 mm) nominal OD.

Mayhew# s outside muffler cutter is designed to make a smooth, clean cut.  The bit has a 1/2"-13 threaded shank and will fit all standard drill chucks.

The cutter features an adjustable exhaust tube, hog-ring hook, magnetic hose guide, 360° rotating exhaust tube to easily maneuver around obstacles and a powerful 11.4 Amp (max.) motor and 1-3/8" stroke that makes short work of hard-to-cut and knotty wood.

The outside muffer, single flute bit gives a smooth finish and is designed to cut rattan. It will penetrate the wall with little effort and will easily remove the chips/shavings which remain in the hole. The cutter length is 19mm and the end diameter is 13mm.
